The nayika comments on her lover’s new ring

  • Description

This poetical treatise describes various types of nayakas and nayikas or ideal lovers, depicted as Krishna and Radha. When the nayika sees her lover’s new ring, perhaps the gift of another woman, she makes a sharp remark about it, which he smilingly rejects.
