    Bioconcave; fine modelling and rich iroye incrustation; on the larger guard [EAX.10909], two Chinese woodcutters and a boy with laden ox crossing a bridge over a stream; distant hills, trees, pagoda, crescent moon, etc.; on the other [EAX.10910], a mounted Chinese sage with man and boy attendant, trees and distant hills. Signed: Kōto no jū ("resident in the Imperial capital", i.e. Tōkiō after 1868) Hokkiō ([Japanese text] Buddhist title) Ichijō saku.
