The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
A large but fragmentary design field, of which two corners are filled with continuous patterns. One has small squares with a diamond in each, the other has triangles linked into squares. In addition there are the remains of a geometric shapes, probably an octagon containing a ?star, and the background filled with lines of light and dark blue embroidery.
The fragment has a selvedge.
