The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

A small rectangle with a band of diamonds, each containing a single motif of linked overlapping crosses. The band has borders with a row of small peaks, possibly representing stylised plants.

The band is 8 cm long and 4.5 cm wide. Parallel to its short ends are rolled hems on both edges of the fragment.
