This Western-style landscape captures the atmosphere of the autumn sunset reflected in the woodland stream. The panel carries a label on the back of the Kobe framing company Matsunaga & Co. Many art textile pieces appear to have been framed in Kobe before being shipped overseas from its port. (Exhibition number 37)
