    The Barlow Collection

The small rounded dish has an everted bracket-lobed rim and a low unevenly shaped foot. The inside was pressed over a mould and is decorated with a six-petalled blossom surrounded by three sprigs of spiralling leaves. The rim shows similar florets flanked by leaves, all finely detailed with thin veins. The inner sides are fluted, the outer sides rounded, showing only a faint echo of the inside form. The green glaze leaves the footring unglazed, the biscuit has fired a light yellow tone.
