    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    Large curving tendrils are symmetrically arranged, turning left and right alternately. The tendrils have remains of yellow stitching, the background was filled with dark blue. Most of the embroidery has disintegrated, but apparently both colours were worked in slanted counted filling stitch.
