The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

Three stylized trees with triangular bases and a hexagonal top, with flowers and leaves emerging. Two of the trees are linked by an additional upright flower. An eight-pointed star set into an octagon is placed on either side of these linked trees. The star is embroidered in a darker blue than the trees, and it has a small square at the centre with a spiral emerging from each corner.
