    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    Four narrow bands filled with blue diamonds alternating with hexagonal cartouches with blue borders and containing light pink quatrefoils.

    The textile has a selvedge, and two of the bands run parallel to the long selvedge side. The other two bands are set at right angles at either end. The width of the bands is 1.2 cm.
