    The A. H. Church Collection of Japanese Sword-Guards (Tsuba)

    In flat relief with rich incrustation and inlay of tinted gold are the various parts of a suit of armour, with bow, quiver, fan and banners, largely covering both faces and the edge.

    F. V. Dickins Collection. The breastplate has in gold relief a sagari-fuji badge (Naitō); the back-banner (sashimono) has in gold inlay a gosan no kiri badge (numerous daimiō families).
