    In low relief part of a design of a dragon amid clouds, continued at the back; on each face the design overruns the false "plug" in the "kodzuka-hole", which is solid with the rest of the guard and is pierced with three small circular holes of various sizes. Signed: Yanagawa Naotoki [Japanese text] with kakihan [Figure]. (Adopted son of Yanagawa Naomitsu.)
