    Rounded oblong; bioconcave, with hammered-up edge; in low relief on the front are two pine-trees with few branches, the tiny cones in gold, amid a haze of gold powdering; at the back, bamboos, with gold tips to the twigs and some of the leaves. Signed at the back on the field in raised characters: HakuĊ [Japanese text] with seal [Figure] (unread). (The founder.)
