The A. H. Church Collection of Japanese Sword-Guards (Tsuba)
Mokkō, with "wire" edge, the angles continued inwards as heart-shapred holes; above and below on each face are two sunk panels, of long mokkō shape, each enclosing a "smooth" dragon in relief; beyond each hitsu is a semi-circle of seven trefoil piercings, all outlined (like the dragon panels) with a line of gold nunome; sd. not marked.
