    Catalogue of Islamic Seals and Talismans

    Cornelian; bezel, bevelled towards the front (but only very slightly); circular; back angle cut. One line of cursive script (1), a date beneath; surrounded by the dāl of the word ‘abdu-hu (2), presented in the shape of a heart and surrounding the ground of the script. Without dots.

    There are small schematic flowers and branches outside and inside the script ground. Two concentric circular lines follow the shape of the gem.
