Chinese Prints 1950-2006 in the Ashmolean Museum
Shi Zhan graduated from the Shanghai School of Art in 1931. He went to Yan’an in 1937 and in 1942 and was appointed head of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of the Shanxi, Gansu and Ningxia regions. He moved to Shenyang in 1948 and became head of the Culture Department of Liaoning province.
