A border with linked diamonds on either side of a band with interlaced rosettes. Some of the rosettes are light blue. At right angles to it is a row of small, linked hexagons and diamonds alternating with red and white poles. The patterns are defined as white against a red background.

Selvedge; remains of stitching and some mending seams. The dye saturation is equal on surface and reverse, and it is not possible to determine the method of mordant application. The blue was applied to the surface.
