The main field has a pattern of tendrils surrounding linked ovals. The tendrils are white on a blue ground, while the ovals are white, blue, and red. In addition there are narrow bands with hearts, cartouches, and tendrils, in blue, white and red, and a red band with an abstract white and red design. The bands are followed by a floral design with small, white tendrils and red flowers on a blue ground.

Selvedge at right angles to the bands. For the red, the reverse shows less dye saturation than the surface, but there is more for the blue.
