Linked, red medallions with a white rosette at the centre and small tendrils and rosettes separated by lines of white dots. Blue medallions fit into the space between; these are filled with red and white tendrils and rosettes. This design is difficult to read, as the blue is crudely applied.

The reverse shows less red dye saturation than the surface, but far more blue. The blue areas are irregular, and the reserve was probably applied by hand. The block used for the mordant application had a size of 9 cm. x 9 cm.
