A wide band of arches supported by columns which alternate between linked ovals and parallel lines filling the column shafts. A palmette is set into each arch, supported by a line of small rosettes. A second band with a row of flower-heads, represented in profile, is flanked by two narrow bands, each with a continuous vine and stylized leaves. The pattern is white on a red ground, with some purple highlights.

Stitches. The resist may have been put on by hand; there are some lines on the reverse, where the resist has cracked.
