A wide band with stylized plant forms emerging from half-medallions; a single flower, seen in profile and with long, thin petals alternates with an asymmetrical group of two plants. The design is similar to Cat. no. 594 [EA1990.601]; it is white against a red ground. A narrow band with eight-petalled rosettes and lines of dots is adjacent to it, and the beginning of a band of crenellations is visible. The band of rosettes is white against a brown ground.

The reverse is slightly less saturated with dye than the surface.
