A narrow border band following the selvedge is filled with small rosettes and tendrils, and possibly with script, which is given a brown outline. A large pattern field follows, including a semi-circle filled with geometric design, a complex rosette, and the fragment of a circle containing further script. The pattern is generally white against a red ground, but outlines are brown.

Selvedge. The reverse is less saturated with dye than the surface. None of the script can be read.
