Oval shapes with stylized floral shapes inside, seen in side-view. The ovals have trefoil terminals. The resist defines the design, the background is green-blue. The flower inside each oval is dyed the same colour, while the oval itself is blue.

Two pieces are sewn together with a flat seam, at an angle to the design. On the reverse two patches have been sewn on, one light blue, the other checkered white and blue. These are made of flax fibre, the checkered one with an s-spin. The thread-counts for both are 15 x 16 (light blue) and 22 x 26 (checkered white and blue).
