The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

A central band with linked circles, of which every second one holds an heraldic eagle. On either side of the band are the remains of paired birds sitting facing each other at the top of a plant. The plants have a trefoil tip.

The band is 3 cm wide. The embroidery of the trees is very deteriorated.
