The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

Two narrow parallel bands, each containing a single row of ornate chevrons made up from opposed S-shapes and a cross at the peak.

The width of the bands is 1.3 cm. The fragment is made up from eight scraps of which four are embroidered; these small fragments are glued to a hessian backing.
