The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
A band is divided into seven squares which are filled alternately with diamond and chevron designs.
The width of the band is 3.5 cm. The textile has a selvedge parallel to the band, and a rolled hem at right angles along one side. Fragmentary remains of a very fine embroidered line are between the band and the selvedge.
