    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    A narrow band filled with fine diagonal lines and attached ?tendrils. The band itself is worked with double running stitch, the border of two parallel red lines is worked in double line stitch.

    The band has a width of 1 cm. Along one side of the textile is a run-and-fell seam and additional fabric without embroidery. Along the opposite side are the remains of a second seam.
