The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

Neck opening of a tunic with a continuous triangular field of brown crosses. The triangle points downwards, and the two sides are embroidered with a border of four hooks each. At the base of the neck opening is a diamond-shaped lozenge, also with two hook shapes attached, similar to a pendant. Small pink ornaments are of uncertain design, as they have badly deteriorated.

There are remains of lining along the neck rim.
