The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
A wide band is filled with red and white lozenges, the red embroidered, the white the plain ground fabric. The band has a border along both sides with a continuous vine and trumpet-shaped leaves.
The red embroidery is done in couching stitch, the fine blue outlines in stem stitch.
