Two rows of blazons shaped like inverted drops, each with an inscription band and diagonal brown stripes; the upper row has two, the lower one three blazons. Below them are the remains of a large naskhi inscription. Both design fields are separated by bands with small inscriptions set into rhombic shapes, alternating with blank spaces.

A French seam at right angles to the inscription has remains of coarse linen fabric, obviously once used as a backing. The large size of the inscription suggests that the textile was used as a flag, banner, or architectural decoration, rather than for dress purposes.
