Small medallions are set into a band, each containing an ornamental inscription. The space between the medallions was filled with further ornamental designs, possibly plant tendrils, but they are too fragmentary to be visible.

Much of the stitching has disintegrated, and there are remains of tracing lines. Threads are couched down over surface satin filling stitches.
