Farm buildings in Shouliang Gou village

  • loan
  • Description

These barns and stables were located at the top of the village of Shouliang Gou. Artists’ materials were hard to come by, and Xu Bing has used wrapping paper from the commune brigade’s stores, and children’s crayons. The quality of the crayon was poor, and the cold weather caused it to freeze. The effects of subsequent thawing can be seen in some areas.
