The Barlow Collection
The deep rounded, bud-shaped bowl has an inturned rim, a broad straight foot and a pointed base. The thick milky blue glaze evenly covers the sides, leaving the footring and part of the foot free but covering the base, and fading to a translucent mushroom-coloured layer at the rim. The glaze is foamy and shows many small bubbles.
