This painting shows a day spent by Jagat Singh with his queens at Jagniwas lake palace. Above, they visit a Shiva temple beside the lake. Then Jagat Singh is greeted by his queens in a courtyard at Jagniwas. They assemble on a roof terrace, where a dancer performs; and below they watch dancers in the roles of Krishna and the gopis. Then Jagat Singh joins his courtiers in a garden with imported Dutch tiles, and practises archery on the lake fish.
