    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    Remains of a central roundel within an octagon set inside a square. A central six-petalled rosette is surrounded by stylized plant motifs and two corners are decorated with a broken scrolling leaf and bud pattern.

    Two sides of the fragment have a rolled hem, and in addition there is a flat seam.
