Explore woodblock prints and ink paintings from around the period of the Cultural Revolution in China.
Fang Zhaolin was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. From 1937 onwards she travelled and lived in many different places, including Oxford (1956-1958), and exhibited her paintings widely in the United States, Europe and East Asia. In 1973 she returned to China to climb Mount Huang in Anhui province.
