Bowl with famille rose decoration of a pomegranate spray, and prunus blossoms and bamboo on rocks on the reverse. Pomegranate is a common garden plant in China and it symbolises fertility.

Ceramic material composed of kaolin, quartz, and feldspar which is fired to a temperature of c.1350-1400⁰c. The resulting ceramic is vitreous, translucent, and white in colour.
