A display to commemorate the contribution of Mary Tregear to the Ashmolean Museum.
The artist Lui Shou-Kwan inscribes: ‘On a foggy night in November 1961, I climbed up the Victoria Peak with several [former] classmates from Zhongshan [in Guangdong province]; on my way I practised sketching outlines. When we came back, I tidied them up, and somehow feel that they lack liveliness’.
