Indian Block-Printed Textiles in Egypt: The Newberry Collection in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford
A tab filled with a stylized, axis-symmetrical plant, similar to Cat. no. 173 [EA1990.1078]. The plant is white on a red ground, and there are some blue details. The background is deep blue.
Selvedge. The reverse shows more dye saturation than the surface. The size of the block used was 17.5 cm. x 11 cm.
