Set of 10 selected Chinese papercuts and their envelope

  • Description

    The traditional folk medium of papercut decorations was used in the late 20th century for designs with politically connected subjects, such as heavy industry and women workers, as well as for decorative pieces. All however use border and subsidiary motifs in use since the Ming dynasty (1368-1644)
