Two bands, one with linked wheels in red, blue, and white, the other red with white, symmetrical leaf shapes alternating with a blue stepped square and flower. Blue and red borders separate the bands. In addition there is a design with large leaves and tendrils, defined by fine, white lines on a blue and red ground.

The resist may partly have been applied by hand. For the blue, the reverse shows considerably more dye saturation than the surface. The design relates to the group of textiles around Cat. no. 1122 [EA1990.1129].
