    The Barlow Collection

The vase is of meiping shape, the slender body with tapering sides, a domed shoulder, narrow neck and everted rim. The base is recessed. The opaque pale grey glaze stops above the base and leaves the footring free, and has an overall dark-stained crackle. The footring shows a somewhat rough body which has obtained a pale reddish tinge, the rim is ground down and has been stained brown.
