A wide design area is covered with red chevrons and trefoil finials, with a narrow border along one side which has a blue continuous vine and small leaves.

The radiocarbon date for the textile is 1224 AD +/- 33, with a calibrated result ranging from 1230 to 1310. The chevron design places it into the Mamluk period.
