    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    Two parallel bands filled with linked diamonds, each outlined by a step pattern embroidered in blue, with a further small red diamond with hook designs at the centre. Each band has an ornate blue border with stylized plants.

    The bands are 6.5 cm wide. At right angles to them is a rolled hem with whipped stitching.
