    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    Small squares and lozenges are linked to create a diagonal grid. The space between has a cluster of four small squares arranged as a cross. The design is set into a rectangle with borders on all four sides. There is the beginning of an additional design field with small squares linked by diagonal lines.

    There are the remains of sewing thread along one narrow side.
