The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

A row of small red crenellations with a trefoil peak and blue inscription, and diagonally placed against it is a red inscription band and a small blue band of linked diamonds, as in EA1984.217.

The similarity in design, colour, stitch and fabric structure indicates that this fragment was once part of EA1984.214 and EA1984.217.
