    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    A wide band with blue eight-pointed stars and two octagons containing lozenges embroidered blue or green, with a yellow centre.

    The octagons are embroidered in counted satin stitch, all other designs in double running stitch. There is a flat open seam along one side of the embroidered area.
