    The A. H. Church Collection of Japanese Sword-Guards (Tsuba)

    Mokkō, with roped edge; the upper and lower lobe each with a transverse perforation, jagged on the inner edge; the right and left lobes each with a small one of lunar shape; the remaining surface on both faces encrusted with brass in stellate or leafy forms, with four short pieces of mukade work set saltire-wise, each on a spiral disk of brass wire.
