    Yellow chalcedony; bezel, bevelled towards the frnot; oval; back angle very slightly cut, frontal angle very slightly rounded. Four lines of cursive script (nasta`līq), with dots; a date beneath.

    1083/1672-3 ١٠٨٣

    On the ground there is a group of small flowers and leaves, shown frontally and very schematically, joined to a spiral stem. Two oval concentric lines follow the shape of the gem.
