    The Barlow Collection

The massive well-potted dish has rounded sides and an everted rim, both carved into sixteen bracket-foliations, and a thick, straight circular foot. The piece is undecorated, the yellowish-green glaze is somewhat opaque, the wide unglazed ring on the base shows remains of a ring-shaped firing support.
