    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    A band is entirely filled with openwork embroidered with needle weaving and quatrefoils in pale blue and yellow satin stitch, arranged as diamonds or squares. The borders of the band have a single line of cross stitch along all four sides.

    There is a selvedge along one side and a rolled hem along the other.
